MARVIN'S OUT OF THE HOSPITAL
But, please keep on praying as he recovers from his cancer surgery. He'll get home this week, and we give God all the praise for Marvin's amazing progress. AFR General Manager and long-time co-host of "Today's Issues" Marvin Sanders underwent cancer surgery at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas several weeks ago. We are anxious for him to return to "Today's Issues" once he's fully recovered. To keep up with Marvin's progress or to send him a note of encouragement, click here.

President Barack Obama continues to promote and implement an agenda that puts so many of our freedoms in jeopardy. For the believer in Jesus Christ, many of this administration's policies go against the clear teachings of scripture with regards to life, morality and government. However, we have a Biblical mandate to pray for our leaders. And, we need to remember that it is not congress or political parties, but God who changes the human heart through an intimate, vital relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. Our president faces a myriad of issues that most of his predecessors didn't have to face, at least not to start off with. So he needs God to guide him like never before. Please click the banner above to learn more about how to pray for President Barack Obama and his family. You can also visit www.house.gov for a look at the President's agenda from everything to national defense, foreign policy and education to issues involving abortion and marriage. Under AGENDA, just click on MORE ISSUES. |
